Finding materials from his vast photo collection, the early 70’s photo that served as the inception for this studio piece had lingered in Jim’s head for well over a decade prior to its creation in the late 80’s. “Under a blanket of snow the late afternoon sun gives a glow to the soft contours of the ‘Sleeping Giant’ The two cedars now completely hide the house.” “What a difference 30 years can make. Across the valley, the Sleeping Giant catches the warm end of daylight on its pine-covered contours.” We have a large ‘giclee’ print of this work (unframed) for $150.
