Description

Since it was first painted during a workshop in 1979, this 2nd generation of the subject remained on the walls of his Steamboat Springs condominium from where Jim hosted several workshops. It remained here until 1998 when it made the trip back to Jim’s KC studio. Shown in it’s original frame, this work depicts old Columbine before the facelift and minus the sign and gas pump from previous paintings.
